You've not been around these parts in a while. Couldn't bear to open your laptop and actually face up to what you're feeling. It's been a weird few months; no doubt about that.
You've thrown yourself into going out and drinking until 3am most weekends because it dulls the pain of your reality. The man you thought you were going to marry and spend the rest of your life with fell out of love with you.. There's no shame in that and you don't have to hide how much it hurts you or how lonely you're feeling.

Body confidence is something I've struggled with as I've grown older. As any woman goes through their teens and into their 20s they begin to notice changes in their body. For me those changes were short legs with an ever increasing waist size and bum.

You might have seen, through my fitness updates, that I've been on a mission to get fit. I've been doing workouts, yoga, trying to motivate myself to go on runs (and failing miserably) and eating healthier foods. I've cut out a lot of the unhealthy snacks I used to eat. I would binge on chocolate and crisps but instead I go for healthier snacks: rice cakes with hummus, dark chocolate or fruit. I love seeing what other people eat in a day so I thought I'd start showing you what I eat.

You might have seen photos of the Magical Lantern Festival in Chiswick House Gardens on Instagram/Twitter/Facebook. The festival celebrates Chinese New Year, the year of the Monkey. The festival has a large number of lanterns, mostly animal ones - Monkeys, Pandas, Zebras, Elephants and many more. As you walk down the darkened path you encounter more and more animals. It's like a little safari on your doorstep. I wanted to share a few photos with you just in case you don't have time to go and see it on its final weekend!
