REVIEW & SWATCHES | NARS DIGITAL WORLD LIP PENCIL COFFRET

This was a lovely Christmas present from my boyfriend. It was on my wishlist after I'd seen countless photos and reviews. Lipsticks are my favourite make-up product - it's weird to think that I only started wearing lipstick last year and now I don't feel complete without product on my lips (even if it's a lip balm or a nude lipstick).

This set has five NARS lip pencils: two Velvet Matte Lip Pencils (Cruella and Iberico) and three Satin Lip Pencils (Torres Del Paine, Descanso and Yu).

The pencils are a lot smaller than the regular pencils. The cost of two pencils equates to this whole set so it's definitely worth the investment for the set of five.

The shade range is pretty amazing in this set. You have everything you could really wish for; from nudes to a bold red it's all here.

Descanso

This might be my favourite from this set, although it's a close second with Yu. I find myself turning to this when I want an everyday look.

The only thing going against it is the creaminess. It might be because of the Satin finish but I prefer the formula in the darker shades. However, this is most definitely my go to shade.

Torres Del Paine

I tried this shade once but I actually took it off straight after application. I found it was more appropriate as a Summer shade. It's a peachy coral so it's one I'd turn to during Spring/Summer. I have other coral shades like this but Torres Del Paine is more wearable.

Yu

Yu is my favourite shade by far. It's just beautiful! It's not my typical pink, as it's very bright, but I love it. I've heard it's quite blue toned and I can kinda see that. It's a Satin lip pencil just like Descanso and Torres Del Paine but I feel like the formula works better in this bold lip.

The great thing about Yu is that it applies an opaque sheen, almost matte, with a hint of shine. I know I'm going to be wearing this pencil non-stop. It also makes your teeth look whiter (I don't know how but it does).

Iberico

Moving onto the Velvet Matte Lip Pencils. This is a bright orange shade. Again, this isn't very season appropriate but I can guarantee I'll be wearing it come Spring/Summer.

I haven't actually used this one yet but I'm excited to finally apply it!

Cruella

I've heard so many bloggers raving about Cruella. It's a vampy red shade that's perfect for Winter through to Summer. Some reds can look cheap and shiny but reds always look better in a matte formula. I just need to find an occasion to wear this. It doesn't seem right to wear this for an everyday look.

Like I said, the shade range is perfect: nude, coral, pink, orange and red. This set pretty much has everything you'd want.

For £32 from Space.NK, this set is incredible. If you're going on holiday or a weekend away it's a great set to take away as all bases are covered. I'll definitely buy more NARS lip pencils in future.
