If, like me, you suffer from cellulite then you might be thinking about ways to improve it. You should love your body no matter what size or shape but I know how it feels when you want to change something. Here are a few tips to help with the appearance of cellulite. However, I'm not an expert so take what I say with a pinch of salt! What helps me may not help you so it's good to find your own ways to combat it :)

What is cellulite? Cellulite is a condition where you skin appears dimpled due to underlying fat deposits, it usually creeps up on the buttocks and thighs.

I continually do different exercises on my legs (although I have been lazy recently). I have a fitness video with different workouts. I could go to a gym but I can't afford the membership fee. This DVD is good because I can do it whenever I want at home and it only cost me £4 to buy from HMV. It's specifically for belly, butt and thighs but there are many more DVDs focusing on other areas. Exercise is recommended with cellulite to break down the fat deposits, and because it is beneficial for stress and to maintain a healthy weight.

When I bathe I use a body brush with balance Me Super Toning Body Wash - I rub it into my skin using the brush. It encourages good circulation in my problem areas to leave smoother skin. After this, I use body lotion (either The Body Shop's White Musk: Smoky Rose body lotion or Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter body butter).

If I stick to this routine I notice a massive difference in cellulite. Obviously, it's not gone completely but it appears a lot smoother and I feel a lot more confident.
