OCTOBER FAVOURITES

Friday 1 November 2013

I haven't managed to do a favourites post for the past few months but here's my October Favourites. There's only 4 products this month, and I've featured most of these on my blog before. I can't believe November is here already! Soon it will be Christmas :)

The first product is Batiste Dry Shampoo in Fruity & Cheeky Cherry. I've loved using dry shampoo but I never liked the smell. I used the original then a coconut one but I can't get enough of this cherry scented one! I'm against washing my hair every single day, I usually wash it 3/4 times a week to keep the natural oils there so using dry shampoo helps between washes.

My favourite nail polish at the moment is Barry M Nail Paint in Matt White. I've talked about this polish on a NOTD. It's the perfect all round colour and doesn't clash with any outfits. Two coats are recommended!

Rimmel 9 in 1 BB Cream made an appearance on my Boots haul post, and I've been using it ever since. I use it mostly for a concealer and it provides amazing coverage. I've seen mixed reviews about this product but I really like it!

Maybelline Baby Lips Cherry Me is only £2.99 but I've been using it every day. It's a lip balm but there's a hint of colour to it so you don't need to wear lipstick if you want to give your lips a breather.

much love,
Cally

  3. I seriously wish I could get away with wearing a bb cream but my skin is never good enough :(!!!
& the matte white polish sounds cool :) I have one but it's not matte and I think it would look really good minus the gloss xxx

    1. I know what you mean, sometimes it can look too caked on. Maybe use it with a powder?
The white matte is really nice, although I've now got a black gloss polish on haha. I seem to go from one extreme to the next :P x

  4. Dry shampoos are the best, but i totally agree that the fragrance can be off putting, i personally like the coconut one, but i haven't tried the cherry yet. Totally agree with you on that Barry M polish i have it and love it, it literally goes with everything and anything. xx

    1. I really like the coconut one too! Dry shampoo is my best friend when I wake up late in the mornings and don't have time to wash my hair.

The polish is such a nice shade, and it's really on trend at the moment xx
